Dr. Scott Adams is a physiologist and scientist with over 15 years of experience delivering and testing the effects of exercise-based interventions for people living with and after cancer. In addition to his scientific work, Scott has founded and led cancer rehabilitation and multifaceted bio-psycho-social support services in hospital and community-based settings. He has witnessed the power of exercise in improving the lives of people living with and after cancer and is ready to help you retake control of your energy and life.
Dr. Eva Bain is a family physician specializing in supportive cancer care, having completed her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University and her medical training at the University of Toronto. She combines her expertise in family medicine with a part-time role as a palliative care physician at Michael Garron Hospital, where she addresses complex symptoms like fatigue throughout the cancer journey. With a strong background in research and international presentations on palliative cancer care, Dr. Bain is a compassionate advocate for patients facing cancer-related challenges.
Dr. Taran Boparai is a seasoned physician who completed her Family Medicine residency at East Carolina University and spent seven years in Canada providing personalized care for patients with complex health conditions. Transitioning to urgent care, she expanded her expertise in managing acute medical issues while also serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Queen’s University from 2020 to 2024. Dr. Boparai is now excited to bring her extensive experience in cancer survivorship care to the Cancer Fatigue Services team, aiming to enhance the quality of life for patients in the community.
Matthew Dhanushan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology & Health Sciences and a Master’s in Fitness Science from York University. As an exercise physiologist specializing in cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), he has gained extensive experience in research and clinical settings, including work with Sunnybrook Hospital, York University and Medcan Health Management. His knowledge and expertise have allowed him to develop a personalized, evidence-based approach to exercise prescription in chronic health management. Matthew is compassionate, and dedicated to helping individuals utilize exercise as a therapeutic tool in improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
Leo Flor has built technology products for almost three decades with over seven years of experience in the healthcare technology industry. Leo will use his experience and technical background, coupled with emotional intelligence to build technology solutions that are easy to use and meet the needs of the Cancer Fatigue Services team and the patients we serve.
Amy Gildner is a physiotherapist and healthcare leader with over 10 years of experience in both public and private sectors. She has held leadership positions at multiple organizations and works hard at Cancer Fatigue Services to make sure every person entrusted to our care receives the care they need to get back to living life on their own terms.

Tong Gu is an experienced financial advisor with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Cancer Fatigue Services, she worked as the Accounting Advisory Team Lead at a startup-focused consulting firm, leading initiatives that increased revenue, business efficiency, and corporate independence. Tong is a critical member of the leadership team, responsible for controlling our costs and generating funding to support fatigue assessment and treatment services. Her extensive knowledge and thoughtful approach make her an invaluable member of the team.
Bonnie Lum is a wellness advocate who is thriving 20 years since her diagnosis of composite lymphoma. She has transformed her journey into a narrative of hope and empowerment. With a background in software quality assurance and a recent certification as a Personal Training Specialist, she combines her technical skills with a passion for health and fitness that blossomed during her recovery. Bonnie is an experienced peer supporter for people living with and after cancer, regularly sharing her story, participating in events with Young Adult Cancer Canada, and emphasizing the importance of regular health checks and healthy living to inspire others facing similar challenges.
Tim Marnoch has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, where he developed exceptional customer service and communication skills to support people through periods of crisis. Tim’s understanding, compassion and ability to support the needs of others make him the perfect person to support you and any needs you may have while you are in our care.
Emily Mrozinski is a Master’s-trained Kinesiologist with experience helping people living with fatigue related to concussions, stroke, and acute brain injury. Emily is skilled in creating personalized exercise plans that empower individuals on their health journeys and is passionate about making healthcare information accessible for everyone. Emily’s love for sports and exercise, which developed later in life, inspires her belief that it’s never too late to learn something new. Her volunteer work on the oncology unit at SickKids Hospital further highlights her commitment to compassionate, personalized care.
