Eva Bain

Dr. Eva Bain is a family physician with a special interest and experience in supportive cancer care.  She completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Life Sciences, with a specialization in Biomedical Sciences. She then completed her medical degree at the University of Toronto followed by her family medicine residency at Michael Garron Hospital.  She holds an academic appointment in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Toronto.

In addition to practicing comprehensive family medicine, Dr. Bain works as a part-time palliative care physician at Michael Garron Hospital. She possesses a strong understanding of the many challenges faced by cancer patients and their families and has experience managing difficult symptoms that often accompany a cancer diagnosis, like fatigue, from diagnosis through survivorship. Dr. Bain has also been involved with research in palliative cancer care and has presented internationally and been featured in multiple peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Bain’s comprehensive approach, informed by her family medicine and palliative care background, positions her as a compassionate advocate and effective provider for individuals navigating cancer-related fatigue.
