Taran Boparai

Dr. Taran Boparai completed a three-year residency in Family Medicine at East Carolina University in North Carolina. She returned to Canada following her residency and practiced Family Medicine for seven years, during which she established herself as a dedicated healthcare provider able to provide personalized and effective care for people living with complex health conditions. More recently, she transitioned to an urgent care practice, expanding her skills in managing a diverse range of acute medical conditions. 

From 2020 to 2024, Dr. Boparai served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Queen’s University, where she contributed to the academic growth of future medical professionals and engaged in innovative teaching practices.

Throughout her career, Taran has had the privilege of caring for and supporting individuals and their families across all phases of the cancer survivorship trajectory, gaining valuable insight into the complex physical, emotional, and psychosocial challenges they face and how to address them. Taran is excited to lend her considerable expertise to the Cancer Fatigue Services team. She looks forward to leveraging her knowledge and experience to support patients in our community through their cancer journeys and enhance their quality of life.
